On arrival in Entebbe you will be met and taken to The Boma Guest House, or a similar property. No activities have been planned for the rest of the day allowing you to rest after your flight, meet fellow guests and look forward to the exciting days ahead. Day 3

Gorilla Trekking

A hugely exciting day! Today you rise early to start your gorilla trek. This can take anything from a couple of hours to much of the day depending on the location of the gorilla family you've been allocated. Either way, once you find them you get one amazing hour to spend with them. Of course we cannot guarantee a sighting, but well over 90% of visitors do get to see them.

Day 4

Free Day, Or Second Gorilla Trek

If you have bought an optional second permit you head off again today to (hopefully!) spend time with the gorillas. If not, we recommend forest walks, a community visit or a relaxing day at your lodge, as you prefer.

Day 5

To Ishasha

This morning you set off on the 3-hour drive to Ishasha, with a visit to a local community project en-route. As you enter Queen Elizabeth National Park you should look out for wildlife, and with luck you may spot the famous tree climbing lions, as well as elephant, hippo and antelope, as well as many species of birds. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before settling in to your accommodation.
