Day 1
Arrive In Buenos Aires
Welcome to Argentina! An English-speaking representative greets you at Ezeiza airport and takes you to the private car for the drive to your hotel. Having checked in and settled in to your room you can choose how to spend the remainder of the day. Later this evening embark on a tasty journey through the vibrant neighbourhood of Palermo . You will visit multiple locations, enjoying traditional dishes, fine wines and local specialities, all while learning about the cultural and culinary history of this area.

Day 2
Guided City Tour
Explore the highlights of Buenos Aires together with your guide. Begin at May Square, home to the Government House, the cathedral, and the old town hall. Next, you will visit San Telmo, one of the city's oldest neighbourhoods, before heading to La Boca, renowned for its colourful houses along Caminito Street. The final stop is Recoleta, the city's most elegant district, known for its wide avenues, beautiful parks, and grand residences. Pay a visit to the historic Recoleta Cemetery, the resting place of Evita Perón and other notable figures. This evening you will have a tango lesson before dinner and a tango show at La Ventana.

Day 3
To Puerto Madryn
A flight takes you to Puerto Madryn, the gateway to the Valdés Peninsula. Your hotel is right on the coast overlooking the ocean. This stunning natural reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site is known for dramatic landscapes, coastal cliffs and diverse wildlife that includes whales, sea lions and penguins. Spend the afternoon at leisure.

Day 4
Explore the Valdés Peninsula
An early start for a full day of exploring the Valdes Peninsula. It starts with a stop at the visitor centre for an overview of the area. Next stop is Estancia San Lorenzo, a working Patagonian sheep ranch. Before enjoying a traditional lamb barbeque (not included) enjoy a sheep shearing demonstration. After lunch visit a phenomenal penguin rookery, the farm is home to the largest colony of Magellan penguins. Continue to Punta Norte to observe sea lions, elephant seals and orcas (depending on the season). It doesn’t end there, on the way back to Puerto Madryn you have a good chance of spotting guanacos, rheas, foxes and even armadillos.

Day 5
To Ushuaia
Take a flight to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. Ushuaia serves as a gateway to Antarctica. It offers stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife and an array of outdoor activities. Wasting no time you’ll head out on a Beagle Channel boat tour. The first stop is at Birds Island, home to a variety of bird species. Next, the boat approaches Sea Lions Island, where you can observe colonies of southern sea lions and southern fur seals, the tour’s main attractions. Continuing onward, you will reach the iconic "Les Eclaireurs" Lighthouse, often mistakenly referred to as the “End of the World” Lighthouse, before returning to shore.

Day 6
Tierra del Fuego National Park
This park was established in 1960 to safeguard the region's unique flora and fauna. The excursion includes archaeological sites, historical landmarks, and seeking out the island's wildlife. Enjoy short hikes on scenic trails, with stops at stunning viewpoints like Roca Lake for perfect photo opportunities. At Lapataia Bay, a wooden sign marks the end of the Pan-American Highway. The tour concludes with a return to Ushuaia.

Fly to El Calafate
El Calafate, a charming town in Argentine Patagonia, serves as the gateway to Los Glaciares National Park. It offers breathtaking landscapes, adventure activities, and a taste of local Patagonian culture and cuisine. Enjoy a restful afternoon and evening, you’ll have a busy day instore tomorrow when you visit the Perito Moreno glacier.

Day 8
Los Glaciares National Park
A full day of exploration lies ahead. Embark on a fantastic journey through Los Glaciares National Park to uncover the history of Patagonia's pioneers. The shared tour starts at Nibepo Aike, one of Calafate’s original estancias. Witness a sheep shearing demonstration and observe gauchos at work, followed by a delicious Patagonian lamb BBQ lunch.
Next, navigate the Rico Branch of Argentino Lake to Las Monedas Beach. Enjoy a gentle hike through the forest to an exclusive viewpoint with stunning vistas. Then, reboard and sail to the south front of Perito Moreno Glacier. Disembark to walk along the catwalks, marvelling at the glacier from every angle.

Day 9
Free Time in El Calafate
Today is a rest day, you can take things at your own pace. We can organise additional activities for you such as a full day visit to Estancia Cristina or perhaps any keen equestrians might prefer a horse riding experience in the company of some gauchos.

Day 10
Transfer to El Chaltén
You’ll be collected from your hotel for a shared transfer to El Chalten. It’s a scenic 3 hour journey with stunning views of glacial lakes, snow-capped peaks. Later this afternoon walk to the Madsen Museum for a guided tour and tea.
Madsen was a Danish explorer who arrived in 1901 and built the first house in the area. Explore the entire house, and enjoy tea or coffee with sweet pastries in the dining room. Meanwhile, the guide will share fascinating anecdotes and tales of the Madsen family’s experiences of life in the early 1900s.

Day 11
Trekking in El Chaltén
Join one of El Chaltén’s must-do treks to Laguna Torre, where stunning views of the Torre massif, Adela range, Mount Solo, and their glaciers await. This enchanting trail takes you through diverse landscapes, from expansive glacial valleys to lush forests. Along the way, we’ll pause at amazing panoramic spots and visit renowned base camps frequented by famous climbers. It’s a full day hike, but not too strenuous as long as you are relatively fit. For those more experienced hikers we can arrange a slightly more challenging trek.

Free time in El Chaltén
Today has been kept free for you to do as you wish in El Chalten. We can arrange additional activities such as white water rafting or kayaking – just let us know.

Day 13
To Buenos Aires
A shared transfer will take you back to El Calafate Airport where you board a flight to Buenos Aires for your last night in Argentina. Nothing has been arranged for tonight, you may want to visit a favourite restaurant or have the concierge at the hotel recommend something for you.

Transfer To Buenos Aires Airport
Enjoy breakfast and depending on the time of your flight home, perhaps a little last-minute shopping before you car arrives to take you to the .Ezeiza airport to check in for your home-bound flight.
