Day 1

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

We will meet you at Victoria Falls Airport and drive you to Ilala Lodge, the closest hotel to the mighty Victoria Falls. It's a lovely spot and you have two nights here. There is plenty to do in the town aside from visiting the falls (which is a must) - there's theatre productions, adrenalin activities, cultural visits and some lovely places to sit and have a spot of lunch such as the Lookout Café.

Day 2

Victoria Falls

Enjoy another day of exploration of this magical part of the world. You could choose a helicopter flight over the falls, white-water rafting, or even a bungee jump. Enjoy a Boma dinner, a lively experience celebrating Zimbabwe's rich culture or enjoy lunch at a home in the village. The choices are endless. One activity we recommend is a sunset cruise on the Zambezi, watch as the sun sets and turns the water various shades of yellow, orange and red before it disappears below the horizon.

Day 3

Chobe

After breakfast, we will take you over to Botswana, to Chobe Game Lodge in the Chobe National Park. Your lodge is on the banks of the Chobe River and being the only accommodation situated within the park, you can beat the rush in the mornings and stay out longer in the evenings. You have two nights here, and there is a range of things to do. Perhaps today an afternoon boat trip on the Chobe River might be the perfect way to celebrate being in Botswana!

There is a wide diversity of wildlife here, from antelopes such as impala and sable, to giraffes, buffalos and hippos to predators such as lions, leopards and hyenas. It's a fabulous park.

After relaxing back at the camp during the lunchtime siesta, you'll be out again in the afternoon, and enjoying sundowners by the evening. Day 9

Makgadikgadi National Park

After your morning game activity, you are flown to Makgadikgadi National Park for a change of scenery. This is a total contrast to the lush Okavango Delta. The lodge is perched above the Boteti River, an important water source which is critical to the annual zebra migration. The main activity here is game driving, but depending on water levels boat activities can also be offered.

Day 10

Makgadikgadi National Park

Enjoy your last day on safari, and make the most of this lovely camp during the day. The wildlife you might see here varies depending on the time you visit, as it's very much a seasonal movement of game in this area. In the dry winter months, around June to November, you will often see big herds of elephants, plus large numbers of zebra and wildebeest (and their accompanying predators), though there is always resident wildlife around throughout the year.
