Tribes Overall: "Our trip was amazing. We hadn't visited India before and we were bowled over by the noise, colour, smells and incredibly friendly people.
All the local staff, guides and drivers were excellent and everything went smoothly. The recommended hotels were also great. "
Tribes Service: "Lots of helpful information. Both Paul and Guy dealt with all my queries promptly. Paul's recommendations on the hotels was great."
Guides: "Our 3 guides in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur were all good and helpful as were all the reps who helped at each destination including Ranthambhore.
Our main driver and assistant were also incredibly helpful and gave extra local info on our journeys."
Social & Environmental Responsibility: "Excellent"
Accommodation
This was a real treat for us. All elements of the stay were amazing and celebrating my mother's 80th Birthday there was fantastic. They even spontaneously provided a Birthday cake.
Beautiful hotel with some much character. Very welcoming to our 8 yr old son.
We loved the experience here and wished we had longer as it was so tranquil. The staff were lovely and their naturalist was very interesting to chat to. They also offered our 8 yr old a complementary massage as the adults were all having one - he loved it.
Our Memories
"First view of the Taj Mahal on the horizon.
Watching cows in rush hour traffic navigating a roundabout.
The Delhi traffic.
Seeing a wild tiger for the first time, followed by a tigress and her 3 cubs.
All the noise, colour and people who were equally as fascinated with us as we were with them."
