Country: Brazil

Overall level of Satisfaction

Tribes Overall: "Everything went well, all arrangements worked perfectly and everyone was friendly and helpful. The holiday was exactly what we asked for."
Tribes Service: "Excellent"
Guides: "All spoke good English and were friendly and helpful. Oscar in Pantanal adjusted plans to suit us. Special mention for our driver in Rio (Leandro?) who was faultless on all our journeys "
Social & Environmental Responsibility: "Most of the places we stayed in seemed aware of environmental impact "

Hotel Santa Teresa
A lovely place to wind down after all the wildlife spotting. Very helpful staff and a bit of luxury.
Motor yacht Tucano
Cabin was fine with room for the cases under the beds. Excellent catering provided you\'re not late. Very good trips well explained by guides.
SouthWild Jaguar Flotel
Basic but fine as most of the time is spent on trips on the little boats. Food ok but not much variety.
SouthWild Pantanal
Lovely setting and good food. Worth noting that they will do a load of washing - ideal in the middle of a long trip
Porto Bay Rio Internacional
Adequate for one night but we wouldn\'t have wanted to be there for longer

Our Memories

"We sat in a boat watching a green iguana have his supper then find a perfect position to sleep in a nearby tree, with a soundtrack of birdsong."
"Standing on the edge of a vast natural amphitheatre watching swallow-tailed kites following red-and-green macaws"
