Country: Mauritius

Overall level of Satisfaction

Tribes Overall: "The three resorts we stayed in got better and better. Our room and view at Preskil was wonderful. Paradise Cove was so peaceful and Lakaz Chamarele was amazing."
Tribes Service: "Excellent"
Guides: "Transfers were very good, drivers all very friendly."
Social & Environmental Responsibility: "the resorts were a boost to local employment. Paradise Cove changed the towels twice daily which I don't think people expect anymore. All resorts sold bottled water, refusing to serve tap water which was annoying. The environmental impact of all those plastic bottles didn't sit well with me."

Lakaz Chamarel
Resort was amazing, we had a lovely private cabin and went on some great walks. Loved the out door shower. The staff however made the place particularly special. They really made you feel special. Fell in love with Rowan\'s smile.
Preskil Beach Resort
It was a bit noisy on the beach at times, due to the number of people. The food was average in the main dinning room - better in their special restaurants but the supplements were high. Sailing and waterskiing great fun and the beach boys were lovely.

Our Memories

"we saw very large fruit bats in Chamarele, which came to visit us about 6 pm every day!"
