Holiday review by Ben Harding

Name: Ben Harding
Date of trip: 18/08/2013
Number of people: 3
Country: Tanzania

Overall level of Satisfaction

Tribes Overall: "We both lead busy lives and left all the organising in Tribes hands and they looked after every element perfectly. They listened carefully to our needs and our budget and tailored the perfect holiday for us. "

Tribes Service: "Tracy couldn't have been more helpful, ensured we had everyhting we needed before we set off. Flawless organisation - wish she could organise all my holidays!"

Guides: "Peter was friendly but unobtrusive, extremely knowledgable and always prepared to go out of his way to ensure we had a ringside seat to the best of the action. "

Social & Environmental Responsibility: "It felt sensitively organised but could have done with more interaction with local people, felt like there were few opportunities to meet locals on the mainland part of the trip."

Accommodation

Kirurumu Manyara Lodge
The friendliness of the Masssai staff gave a bad name to warriors everywhere. Great accomodation, food, location and amazingly friendly staff.

Kati Kati Tented Camp
Blissful isolation amongst the Serengeti wildlife. Was such a treat to be in such a quiet camp and be spoilt by the lovely staff.

Country Lodge
The one let down, pretty mediocre place, gruff staff and none of the romance of the first three nights.

Our Memories

"Sunset over the Serengeti being serenaded by lions and hyenas. Greeted at dawn by dik-dik and antelope grazing outside the tent. "
"The drive of a lifetime through tropical rainforests round the rim of the Ngorongoro crater"
