Botswana holiday ideas experiences accommodation places to go when to visit Botswana map reviews

Holiday review by Jeff Webster

Name: Jeff Webster
Date of trip: 13/07/2010
Number of people: 2
Country: Botswana

Overall level of Satisfaction

Tribes Overall: "We always give our safaris a 'mark' out of ten when we return from a trip. Out of twenty or so that we have now been on none have scored less than eight. This trip was a resounding ten!"

Tribes Service: "Julie's first hand knowledge of the area we were travelling to enabled us to plan the locations carefully and more importantly in choosing the best time of the year to visit so that we could see the animals we wanted to see."

Guides: "All the guides were excellent. They were not only knowledgeable about the animals but were also experts on the flora, fauna and insect life."

Social & Environmental Responsibility: "I find it difficult to make a balanced assessment. The people certainly were passionate about the wildlife and the environment but we did not meet any other local people other than the few who looked after us in camp."

Accommodation

AfricaSky Guest House
The accommodation was comfortable and the owners and staff were very friendly. We only stayed for one night but the dinner and breakfast were all that we expected and adequately met our needs.

Lagoon Camp
A happy and friendly camp where the food is of top quality and the portions generous! The wine is good too!!

Kwara Camp
A happy and friendly camp where the food is of top quality and the portions generous! The wine is good too!!

Camp Kalahari
Set miles from anywhere this is a camp styled around the 1940's period with good solid furniture and an ambience to match.
