Holiday review by Keith Jones

Date of trip: 22/09/2012
Number of people: 2
Country: Zambia

Overall level of Satisfaction

Tribes Overall: "Zambia is an excellent destination for the seasoned traveller. The lodges and guides in general are excellent and the wildlife is particuarly good in South Luanga. The Lower Zambezi is very scenic but the wildlife is harder to find."
Tribes Service: "Really good service and able to book things at the last minute"
Guides: "Excellent"
Social & Environmental Responsibility: "I was particulary pleased to get the opportunity to walk with white rhinos. These animals are guarded 24/7 and it is important that people visit them and help the local people to preserve and value their wildlife."

Busanga Bush Camp
A fantasic location and great accomodation. This area is so different from others in Zambia and is well worth the effort getting there.
Chongwe River Camp
Amazing place - the food and the ambience were just brilliant. The guides were really good but if you want to see lots of big cats then go to South Luanga
Island Bush Camp
The food and hosts were brilliant. The walking was less challenging than we had hoped but that was because of the mixed group we were staying with. We had an elephant outside our tent one day and the hippos will keep you awake. The remote beauty is awesome
Lion Safari Camp
I cannot praise this camp enough. The guides were fantastic and the remote location was spot on. The wildlife is on the doorstep and the guides worked tirelessly. The camps vehicles were often the only vehicles at a sighting.
