Country: EcuadorOverall level of Satisfaction
Tribes Overall: "Not just the trip, but the very professionals that met us at all travel points in Ecuador and to the archipelago, were most helpful."
Tribes Service: "Simon was a great help, especially when we had to rebook to a later date. We would book another trip with Tribes without hesitation."
Guides: "Our guides made the journey worthwhile. They helped us understand why this area is so special."
Social & Environmental Responsibility: "Our guide in the Galapagos, Darwin, was truly passionate about conserving the natural wonder of the region. He was inspirational. In Quito, we wished the municipality paid as much attention to it's indigenous past as it does it's colonial history."
Accommodation
A pleasant, colonial hotel, right in the centre of Quito. Our first room was split-level, which had it's challenges, and our second room was an internal room with no external window. The staff were very helpful and professional. They were able to arrange a guide at short notice for our final morning in Quito.
Not quite what we expected, but we wouldn't have wanted to be on any other boat. Traveling with 14 other fast-friends, and knowing each member of the crew, made this a very intimate experience. We would have hated to be on one of the 50-person or bigger ships.
