Accommodation
This was the least good accommodation of the trip - the room allocated only had a double bed so they put us into a family room in a less good part of the accommodation. The area had been hit by severe rain in the recent rainy season and some of the cover over the connecting walkways had been damaged. It all felt as though it had seen better days but the guides were keen and helpful and the food was good.
Simple straight forward hotel with good internet -- 2 computers available. Good breakfast and efficient luggage storage and laundry.
This was the best hotel we stayed in on the entire trip. The room was big and airy and an excellent large shower. The ambience was great and the guided walks on the property were brilliant. The restaurant was outstanding and provided the chance to eat cuy without having the bone structure to contend with.
Good modern hotel in nice grounds adjacent to the railway station. Staff weren't particularly helpful but the room was fine and breakfast good. Also good internet with 2 computers in reception area.
Fantastic spot and well screened throughout so there was no problem with mosquitoes when we were there. The guided trips were excellent. Facillities in rooms were basic but the food was good and the staff were all very helpful. Perhaps there should have been clearer advanced info on the hour's walk to access the canoe to the lodge. It was relatively dry when we did it and did not present us with a problem but it might have been a struggle for others.
This was a great yacht with a lovely crew who were all helpful and welcoming at all times including the captain who mixed in with everyone.
