Tribes Overall: "Brilliantly organised holiday, all venues exceeded expectation, transfers worked like clockwork despite complicated schedule .Had an amazing holiday. Many thanks to Tribes & Hannah!"
Tribes Service: "Hannah answered all queries promptly, was very considerate & helpful throughout."
Guides: "Guides were excellent in the Okavango camps and at Meno Kwena learnt a lot and saw great wildlife. Chobe guide not quite so good. "
Social & Environmental Responsibility: "Resources seemed to be used responsibly, ie use of solar power, oil lamps, care with water use. I guess provided employment locally with hopefully minimal impact on environment. "
Accommodation
Service & food good, larger than other camps we had visited. The least environmentally aware. Overlooking water hole, watching this was as good as game drive, we likened it to a variety show, with entertainment from elephant, wart hog, kudu, lots baboon ,impala, bushbuck, herd buffalo, vultures! Charged for all drinks including water, except on activities.
We enjoyed Kwara very much, very close encounter with bull elephant, great wildlife viewing, elephant, lion, leopard, etc. enjoyed walking safari, mokoro, drives, boat trip to see amazing birds. Liked limit of 3 vehicles maximum around animals. Had best trackers & guide here. No mosquito nets, but made good use of the free laundry service -washed everything.
Excellent eco concept, the best food here even though mostly cooked open fires. wonderful views over Boteti river & huge herds zebra & wildebeast. Great place to relax and unwind. Hosts great & saw few other tourists. Enjoyed our bucket showers by moonlight! No mosquito nets.
Similar to Kwara and enjoyed very much. Very sociable & friendly hosts. good wildlife viewing though big cats elusive while we were there. Also free laundry but not smalls. Also close encounter with resident bull elephant (George)!
