Overall level of Satisfaction

Tribes Overall: "Excellent"
Tribes Service: "Although we had done a fair amount of research ourselves, we found Tribes very helpful in planning the itinerary and providing the balance we hoped to achieve."
Guides: "Good"
Social & Environmental Responsibility: "All hotels except one were Indian owned and not part of international chains. All 3 countryside places were environmentally responsible and provided employment for local people. Most of the hotels were heritage buildings."

Bhainsrorgarh Fort
An idyllic location where it is possible to chill out and enjoy outstanding food and hospitality (best we experienced during our holiday). The views from the rooms and the rooftop restaurant have to be seen to be believed. Although it is slightly out of the way, we felt it was an unmissable experience.
Chambal Safari Lodge
The bungalow we stayed in was basic but attractive and comfortable, and had a good view of the countryside. The lodge was well run and clearly very environmentally sensitive. We stayed 3 nights and managed to see over 100 species of birds, civet cat, hyena, jackals, large grey mongoose, fruit bats, dolphin, crocodiles and gharials.
Jass Radisson Hotel
Although our overnight train arrived at 5.30 and an early check-in was not guaranteed, we were admitted to our room immediately for a 2 hour sleep in the extremely comfortable beds. This was essential before the quite arduous but immensely rewarding visit to the temples the same day. The room was luxurious and the breakfast excellent.
Khem Villas
We had a very comfortable, attractive cottage with good amenities. Service was superb. A hot waterbottle, blanket and sandwich provided before the early morning Safaris! Soup and toast sent to the room when one of us was off colour. Delicous food: Indian in the evening and fusion food at midday which was a good break from Indian all the time.
Mansingh Palace
A very good 'European style' hotel with good breakfast. Comfortable with well equipped rooms.
Shahpura House
Characterful building with large rooftop restaurant and delicious food. We were given a large and colourful suite with excellent amenities.
