Accommodation
We particularly liked Sable Mountain Lodge - the informal atmosphere and homestyle meals really suited our style. Plus, we had the best safari experience there. Our guide, Rana, was excellent.
We really loved Selous Impala camp. The extra luxury was a bit of a treat. Our only comment was that all of us felt that the meals, while absolutely delicious, were a bit overwhelming - too much food! Again, the staff were fabulous, particularly Gerard, the river boat guide, and Mafute, our waiter, who both took time to teach us some Swahili.
