Social & Environmental Responsibility: "Yachana lodge was very impressive with all the work they have done in preserving the rainforest and setting up the school. "
Accommodation
By far the most luxurious place we stayed at. Wendy loved it here! The familly made us feel very welcome and not like staying in a hotel at all. Being a working farm it was a bit of an early start hearing the cows moving from the field, but that was part of the charm of the place. The food was of a very high standard but so was the price unfortunatley! I would have preffered if we had been told that there is nowhere else to eat here in the evening and if this was included in the price of staying here. I did feel that this was a bit cheeky. But that said it was an amazing place to stay if you dont want to feel like another faceless customer in a big hotel.
Wendys favorite part of our honeymoon! I reccomend the nightwalk if you have nerves of steel and dont have a problem with spiders. I dont know where to start all of it was amazing. The guide was very good. It was very interesting seeing the work they are doing.
This was my personal favorite in terms of wildlife. It was such a magical experience to see so many birds so close. It just had a lovely feel to the place. very relaxed friendly atmosphere. Our guide 'George' was exellent.
