Accommodation

Potato Bush Camp
We really enjoyed the canoe trips very friendly, knowledgable staff as the evenings were cold we appreciated the hot water bottles and hot coals under the table.

Mwamba Bush Camp
Wonderful food magical lying in bed looking up at the stars

Bilimungwe Camp
Relaxing after lunch watching many animals gradually coming down to the water hole to drink, was a special treat. We had a lovely massage in the best situation ever on the banks of the Luangwa River listening to the hippos chatting to each other. Tom was a very good host.

Mumbo Island Camp
The sun made a big difference to the Island which lost some of its magic on the day when it was cloudy. Swimming in the Lake was the highlight along with boat trips around the island at sunset

Our Memories

"On Mumbo Island we would walk to the other side of the island after breakfast to a tiny beach where we would be all alone to swim in the warm sea, listening to the fish eagles and watching the kingfishers."
"Sitting in the safari vehicle watching 17 lionesses and young from the Mwamba Pride all sitting together under a tree, with one very handsome male on guard, I suddenly realised how close we were and how unperturbed they were at sharing their siesta with us."
