Accommodation
A nice relaxed place to finish our holiday, with plenty to occupy us. Good food, & entertainment every night.
We had lunch at The Rock on our penultimate day - what a brilliant venue for a restaurant!
A bigger setup than Tarangire, again very comfortable, with helpful staff & good food.
This was our first bush lodge of the trip, & it was very comfortable too.
Our Memories
"We mainly went to see the eclipse, but we managed to see a few animals as well. One of the funniest moments was watching the eclipse itself - a whole crowd of eclipse chasers & local staff were sitting there with cameras & telescopes trained on the sun, & a giraffe came along & stopped to watch us. It must have stood there for about an hour - clearly fascinated !"
