Overall level of Satisfaction

Tribes Overall: "Excellent"
Tribes Service: "Very prompt responses to all questions (no matter who ridiculous) and was kept informed regularly about progress with bookings."
Guides: "Good"
Social & Environmental Responsibility: "The floating lodge scores higher than the pantanal, which wasn't too bad but the floating was definitely the real deal for genuine ecotourism. "

Refugio da Ilha
Fantastic friendly staff and lots of wildlife to be found very close to the accommodation. The food here is amazing and very difficult not to over indulge on!
Uakari Floating Lodge
Had an amazing time here. The staff, location, accommodation, food and experiences you have when here can't be beaten. The only problem was we didn't have long enough here. The downside was that we did leave early on our last day, soon after breakfast. We, and the other guests there who had booked through other agencies, expected half a days worth of activities. This didn't happen as we were taken back to Tefe (the nearest town) in the morning, transferred to a bed and breakfast were we could leave our bags until we were picked up at 5 in the evening and taken to the airport for our flight. We had quite a few hours to kill here but there isn't much to do in Tefe. The pousada owner did offer to take us on a tour for a fee but this wasn't quite what we were expecting on our last day. I'm not sure where the confusion over this last day stems from but I felt it unfair to mark down the lodge for this.
