Overall level of Satisfaction

Tribes Overall: "• Car hire very smooth, roads of a good quality and navigation easy with satellite navigation provided. The driving in KZN was easier than I had anticipated. • The Cavern exceeded expectations. Lesotho is like going back to the 19th century in many ways! Certainly wouldn't drive over the Sani Pass without a guide. Fantastic potential for hiking but sourcing guides for this was a challenge. However, our guide for the hike up Thabana Ntlenyana was clearly knowledgeable, he would be a good contact to retain for future visits. • Greg, our guide in Lesotho, was good and worked hard to ensure we got some hikes in and got to see lots of Gil and Tom...without him we would have really struggled. He was also good company and certainly comes with our recommendations. "

Tribes Service: "The team were able to identify exactly what I required and found BA flights that fitted my tight schedule. The local knowledge was excellent."

Guides: "Greg, our guide in Lesotho, was good and worked hard to ensure we got some hikes in and got to see lots of Gil and Tom...without him we would have really struggled. He was also good company and certainly comes with our recommendations. He was very happy to help with our requests."

Social & Environmental Responsibility: "It was good to support tourism in Lesotho, which particularly in Mokhotlong is very under-developed."

Our Memories

"The mountains were spectacular and staying at The Cavern was perfect: amazing scenery, very good staff and the guided walks were very enjoyable. Hiking to the summit of Thaban Ntlenyana was a particular highlight."
