Country: ZimbabweOverall level of Satisfaction
Tribes Overall: "As usual Tracy did us proud and sent us to some wonderful camps in fantastic locations. The wildlife viewing was excellent and the number of Elephants was way beyond the numbers we have seen on previous trips. We also had two sightings of Wild Dogs which was a real bonus as we have only seen them twice before in nearly twenty eight years. A Leopard trapped in a tree held captive by a large family of Baboons for over four hours was another memorable event."
Tribes Service: "As good as it always is."
Guides: "They were all good and are very similar in their professionalism to those in Zambia"
Social & Environmental Responsibility: "Without doubt it was. The people are so keen to move forward after the Mugabe years and were so pleased to see people from Europe and especially the UK making a trip to their country."
Accommodation
Beautiful accommodation in a wonderful setting. More touristy than the others being close to Vic Falls and offering a host of other activities such as bun jee jumping which we gracefully declined!!
Another lovely camp in its own concession in the park continuing the feeling of having Africa to ourselves.
We could have easily spent an extra night here.
A lovely camp in its own concession in the park so we were able to experience Africa on our own.
Very nice and comfortable even though it was a tadge cold at 2 degrees at night due to an abnormal cold snap!!!! The hot water bottles were a real treat.
Our Memories
"Sorry, I have covered most of this above. Perhaps the most special moment was being able to watch for ten minutes in daylight an African Wildcat under the decking of our tent!"
