Country: Galapagos IslandsOverall level of Satisfaction
Tribes Overall: "The rainforest and the Galapagos by far exceeded our expectations. What you see on the TV which is awesome but when you actually see it, it is breath taking."
Tribes Service: "Paul was really good, he sorted everything to accommodate us and kept us informed at all times."
Guides: "Both Andres (Napo), Jose (Beluga) and Raul (Quito) were very knowledgeable and couldn't have been more help. Andres and Raul in particular went out of their way to make our trip a most enjoyable experience."
Social & Environmental Responsibility: "Everybody we met was friendly and aware of the environment and our effect on it. I was impressed at the green initiatives adopted in Napo and the Galapagos."
Accommodation
Long way from Coco to the centre but the canoe trip to the centre is amazing for your first taste. Rooms are fine but no air con (not a problem) so everything feels damp. Would have liked to be offered a room on the lakeside.
Fantastic location on La Ronda get a back room away from the noise in the street. Easy to walk to local sights. Very helpful and attentive staff.
Small cabin so lived out of the suitcase. Great crew who were very helpful and friendly. We were very lucky with our fellow travellers who were very nice and friendly. Food was excellent, I've never eaten so much.
Our Memories
"The wildlife, watching the giant otters chasing fish, the Caymans, toucans, macaws, monkeys in Napa. Snorkelling with the penguins, seals, flightless cormorants, white tip sharks, wahoo in the Galapagos. Watching the Frigate birds following the boat and the marine Iguanas and turtles feeding underwater. The scale of the volcanoes and lava fields and the canopy in the rainforest."
