Tribes Overall: "My son and I felt our trip was better than we could ever dream of! The variety was amazing! The animals were astounding!"
Tribes Service: "Tracy is fabulous! Took care of everything. She had quite a challenge because we were booking high season at the last minute. She called me promptly whenever I asked and emailed me quickly. When she was not available another person responded to my email, which was very comforting. "
Guides: "Our driver/guide, Peter, was absolutely incredible! Could not have been better! He was a joy to be around and was an expert on everything Safari! I cannot say enough good things about him! We also had an excellent driver/guide at Tassa at their concession. Bob and Emmanuel (the spotter) were amazing! Bernard was fantastic hiking the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro! Lawnjo (I hope this is correct spelling) was wonderful at Lake Natron! Also, our guides for our canoe trip on the Zambizie were terrific!"
Social & Environmental Responsibility: "Absolutely, from using a tank for water instead of water bottles in the Jeep to supporting the local communities, this aspect of the trip made me feel really great about the company we were traveling with!"
Accommodation
Oh gosh, just spectacular! Incredible room, gorgeous view, amazing staff, so relaxing and luxurious! Perfect!
Our first place to stay. We loved the room, grounds, staff, food, everything! So beautiful!
Great location, very nice room, excellent staff. The rooftop restaurant and bar were amazing. We loved Stone Town!
Our Memories
"Seeing lions mating, being surrounded by a heard of elephants, having a female leopard in heat with a male right behind her running alongside the jeep, seeing very rare wild dogs, seeing the great migration and the astounding water crossing, fascinating Stone Town, gorgeous Fumba Beach, breathtaking Victoria Falls! We loved ziplining and a sunset cruise and canoe trip on the Zanbizie River. A last minute addition was hiking up to the first base camp at Mt Kilimanjaro. The people we met in Tanzania, Zanzibar and Zimbabwe were some of the most friendly and enjoyable people you could ever meet!"
