Overall level of Satisfaction

Tribes Overall: "Yes met expectations. All ran pretty smoothly. We had some great experiences, we felt well supported by the local agents."
Tribes Service: "Paul was very efficient about dealing with questions and queries and kept us informed if there were delays when we were sorting out the trip arrangements. His advice about choices for the holiday and the best way to arrange things proved valuable and accurate."
Guides: "All specialist guides reasonably knowledgeable. The guides in Jaipur and Jodphur were pushy about wanting to taking us shopping and it took repeated refusals before this was accepted . We did not experience this elsewhere. Our driver did not speak much English which was disappointing as trying to change arrangements was hard to do. However he was an excellent driver and a very nice person. The local ground handler reps were very attentive, checked that things were ok as we went along and arrived at destinations where we had guides arranged and to make sure we got on our train and to the airport"

Bundi Vilas
Loved the fact was small and informal.good breakfasts. It was also the best restaurant to eat in town for food quality and roof top venue was fab.
Rawla Narlai
Loved it - the posh rooms were a real treat - and attentive staff, but it was informal. I really liked the fact the staff took guests out around the village - we visited the local school, local people’s houses, temples, workshops; and also up the hill and to caves -routes we wouldn’t have found alone. We also enjoyed exploring the area on our own. I felt connected to the area and enjoyed the overall experience a lot. Food was great as was the pool.
Shahpura House
We had a great Diwali experience there. Rather posh with lots of fussing staff. Beer very expensive. Room was on ground floor opposite a lounge which made it a bit noisy. I would have preferred to be close to the main sites - traffic was crazy in Jaipur and no pavements so it wasn’t feasible to walk around - and tuktuk trips were not great
Jagat Niwas Palace
Room quite small and nowhere to put anything - we were staying 4 nights so would have preferred more space. Aside from this - loved the hotel - loads of character, great location. Service for breakfast rather slow and got orders wrong ( unlike other hotels it was not a buffet). Stunning lake views from the roof top and the restaurant.

Our Memories

"Pushkar camel fair - amazing - could’ve spent more time there as every day there were different things going on. Mount Abu - everyone is on holiday there, so the place had a great fun atmosphere - we enjoyed mixing with Indians on holiday - ended up joining in a local wedding street dancing; really liked the area - lots to do - beautiful mountain views - enjoyed hiking in the forests Narlai - staying in Rawla Narlai hotel was a wonderful experience - great rural location with lots to see and experience - made that way because of what the hotel did to connect guests to the village - see my comments about the hotel Udaipur - loved the city - and loads to do. A highlight was doing a cycle trip within the city and around the surrounding area. The palaces/forts - amber fort, bundi fort, were amazing places"
