Overall level of Satisfaction

Tribes Overall: "Ecuador experience was enhanced by our guide (Raul) who was very adaptable in respect of our requests with regard to amending the programme to enable us to see condors and climb Cotopaxi"
Tribes Service: "Rory gave us an excellent service and appreciated our requirements"
Guides: "Ecuador please see comments in opposite box. Javier on the Millennium was very knowledgeable and was kind enough to copy a video he had made of our experience on the Galapagos"
Social & Environmental Responsibility: "Good"

Grand Hotel
All good here
Hacienda Abraspungo
All good here
Hacienda Manteles
The room we were allocated was very spacious and should have had a panoramic view of the volcano. Unfortunately the blinds were closed and inoperative, so no view at all. These blinds had been broken for a considerable period of time as damaged parts were lying on the window sill. When we tried the shower it was running cold, but just before we left we discovered the hot and cold labelling was incorrect. This was once again a long term factor
Patio Andaluz
All good here
Santa Lucia Hotel
All good here
Hacienda Santa Ana
This Hacienda was very nice and the staff friendly, however the underfloor heating had obviously been a problem as there was an electric heater in the room. We were told the heating was on and would heat up soon, but it never did. We feel this should not have occurred

Our Memories

"We loved the Avenue of Volcanoes and the amazing wildlife on the Galapagos, everything we had hoped for and more."
