Overall level of Satisfaction

Tribes Overall: "This was an absolute thrill of a trip and one every wildlife enthusiast should be aware of! The gorilla trekking was challenging but once we were with the gorillas it surpassed our expectations! "
Tribes Service: "This was our second trip with Tribes and again it exceeded all expectations. Our consultant Tracy was extremely helpful and knew what we wanted and delivered it. "
Guides: "All our guides on the gorilla trek and the Gorilla Forest Lodge were extremely knowledgeable and were able to pass on their experience to us extremely well. They were all very aware of their responsibilities and made us feel safe and welcome at all times"
Social & Environmental Responsibility: "Very happy to know that all the money from the permits we paid will go towards the conservation of the gorillas and the communities supporting the gorillas. "

Gorilla Forest Camp
A real sanctuary in the Bwindi Forest, this is a fantastic location and the staff were brilliant. They made us so welcome and anticipated everything we would need to be able to experience and enjoy the two treks we achieved. The food was perfect and ice cold beers at the end of the treks was SO WELCOME! We would certainly recommend this wonderful lodge

Our Memories

"The moment we first saw the gorilla group with the huge silverback very much in evidence was breathtaking and very emotional. It made the hard trekking worth every footstep! Seeing the second group the following day was equally as emotional, and recognising the two groups were very different made the second trip as exciting as the first. "
