Country: Malawi

Overall level of Satisfaction

Tribes Overall: "What we wanted was a relaxing safari holiday in a new location and we got that in spades !"
Tribes Service: "Christine was her usual self - competent, helpful, humorous and efficient. She has helped us with so many holidays she could do it in her sleep !"
Guides: "Mustafa was an excellent guide and we would rate him as one of the best guides we have had over many safaris in several countries - a class act."
Social & Environmental Responsibility: "The combination of RPS and Africa Parks has rejuvenated Majete and provided a safe haven for the wildlife, employment for the local Malawians and an up and coming destination for the tourists - everyone is a winner"

Mkulumadzi Lodge
One of the most stunning lodge locations we have experienced. The staff are warm, friendly and well trained and provide a wonderful atmosphere. The food is good, plentiful and well presented

Our Memories

"We had so many memorable moments from this trip we would need a much larger document but the ones that really spring to mind were wading across the Mkulumadzi river with our boots tied round our neck while keeping an eye open for the resident wildlife, feeding the Thick Tailed Bushbaby with peanut butter and jam at the lodge and watching 12 different species of mammal coming and going and interacting in broad daylight at one of the waterholes."
