Overall level of Satisfaction

Tribes Overall: "Perfect for us and even surpassed our expectations"
Tribes Service: "Excellent planning that took full account of our preferences. Good value for the level of the holiday."
Guides: "Again we couldn't fault any of them. They really made the wildlife experience for us."
Social & Environmental Responsibility: "Tourism keeps the economy ticking over and we saw many local people in employment - from the female Botswanan pilot right through guides, camp managers etc."

Kalahari Plains Camp
The Camp, staff and accommodation were wonderful, and everyone worked so hard to make our experiences there perfect and memorable. Our guide, Tsholo, with the help of Sonny, made our wildlife experiences just amazing. We will never forget sleeping out under the stars to the roar of lions just outside the camp. We are so glad that we included this stay in the Kalahari Plains Camp as part of our Botswana trip.
Little Kwara Camp
A lovely small camp with a really nice feel. Our guide (Tom) was incredible and with the help of the spotter, Mike, gave us wonderful experiences with animals and birds that included cheetah and leopard. We also loved the boat ride.
Chobe Elephant Camp
All the staff and the super guide (Joel) made our stay here a wonderful experience. The accommodation was excellent and the wildlife experiences were superb and included close encounters with elephants.

Our Memories

"Sleeping under the stars in the Kalahari while the lions roared just outside the camp boundary; close encounters with lions, cheetah, leopard and meeting a brown hyena on the way to bed (all under the safe company of our guide)."
