Overall level of Satisfaction

Tribes Overall: "Excellent"

Tribes Service: "Excellent"

Guides: "The guides on our private and scheduled tours in Cape Town were wonderful---friendly, very knowledgable, and personable. The guides at both the Kwihala and Impala camps in Tanzania were the best guides, certainly in terms of knowledge and ability to spot game, that we have encountered on 3 different safaris covering 9 total camps!"

Social & Environmental Responsibility: "The 'Walk to Freedom' tour in Cape Town changed my perspectives entirely."

Accommodation

Kwihala Camp
Great atmosphere with exceptional guiding. Each meal was special, usually served under the stars near a fire. Food was very good, tent were large, clean, and very comfortable. All staff were great. A truly wonderful camp for those who want to be less than pretentious.

Selous Impala Camp
The camp meals and service were top notch, almost like being in a boutique high class hotel. Tents had full electricity plus a large fan which helped to deal with the high day-time heat. Guide was great both on water safaris and game drives. Gerard was memorably warm, knowledgable and sharp eyed.

Welgelegen Guest House
Great place! Exceptional personal service, ability to help with any and everything in a personable way, and lovely room and public areas. Almost like being in an expensive home as a valued friend/guest.
