Tribes Service: "Rory McCormick was an excellent consultant who handled our many requests quickly and efficiently. All the travel arrangements worked smoothly."
Guides: "Heirkaldo? ("call me Hiko?") Rio de Janeiro - Enjoyable and well managed day gave us a good taste of Rio.
Roberto Santiago good in the little time we had there.
Ruben in Cusco and Sacred Valley excelled. Part Inca and passionate about the area. He explained the Inca civilisation in a way we could understand.
Jose at Puno another "local lad" so lots of knowledge.
Gloria at Quito knowledgeable and very efficiently sorted problem at airport.
All had drivers who were good and we always felt safe.
All were prompt and no time wasted.

Accommodation
Good and slightly quirky hotel. Good comfortable accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. Food and service excellent in the restaurant although dinner was expensive. Pleasant neighbourhood with good local restaurants.
Good and slightly quirky hotel. Good comfortable accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. Food and service excellent in the restaurant. The hotel has two very comfortable lounges. Pleasant, bohemian neighbourhood with good local restaurants.
The bedroom was small and dark and uncomfortable. Staff were just doing their job. Breakfast was poor. It is fairly central though to the main square.
A good location looking out onto Lake Titicaca. The bedroom allocated looked out onto a small strip of grass and a road. We upgraded to an identical room overlooking the lake for $50. Front desk staff professional. The restaurant looked out to the lake and the food and service were excellent. Boardwalk down to the lake was excellent for bird (and Guinea pig!) watching.
Good comfortable accommodation in individual cottages. Front office staff were pleasant and helpful. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent. The gardens were attractive and a good spot for bird watching.
A typical airport hotel which is very convenient for early/late flights. Front desk staff professional. Comfortable bedroom and a good restaurant. Great for leaving luggage for extended periods - we were able to collect very quickly.
Good comfortable accommodation in individual cottages. Front office staff were pleasant and helpful. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent. Limited excursions for a short visit. The walk in the tree canopy was disappointing as the only thing seen were the tops of trees and 2 birds!
An excellent hotel with good comfortable accommodation in individual cottages. Front office staff were pleasant and helpful. Food and service in the restaurants were excellent although dinners were very expensive. The gardens were beautiful and breakfast on the patio was bliss.
A good centrally located hotel with good comfortable accommodation. The hotel has a attractive courtyard for eating in and relaxing. Listening to live music by the fire pit surrounded by candles was magical. Front office staff were pleasant and helpful. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent.
An excellent choice with only nine very spacious and comfortable cabins. The guide (Jocelyn) was excellent and very knowledgeable. The crew could not have done more to make our time aboard more enjoyable. Food was good and plenty of it. Spacious upper decks for relaxation. The choice of islands was good with lots of variety and wildlife. Good opportunities for snorkelling.
