Obviously seeing the gorillas, plus all other wildlife, leopard, chimps, elephants etc. Also going to the Ride for Women Project.

The highlights were seeing the Gorillas in the wild, hard trekking but wonderful experience having a family of gorillas feeding all around. Also the chimpanzees were great to observe and we were lucky enough for them to come down to the ground and were very close to us, within a couple of feet at times. We also saw tree climbing lions, in a tree, hyenas feeding, had a masterclass in how to sleep by a leopard, and many other great experiences.

The moment we first saw the gorilla group with the huge silverback very much in evidence was breathtaking and very emotional. It made the hard trekking worth every footstep! Seeing the second group the following day was equally as emotional, and recognising the two groups were very different made the second trip as exciting as the first.
