Open: Wildlflower Hall is open all year.
Location: Wildflower Hall is located in 22 acres of private woodland a 45-minute drive from Shimla or 90 minutes from Shimla airport, in the Himalayas. There are daily flights to Shimla from Delhi.
Rooms: Guests are accommodated in a total of 87 rooms and suites, all of which have TVs, DVD players, Wi-Fi internet access, direct dial telephone, minibar, safe and 24 hour butler service. All have a spacious marble bathroom with bath and separate shower. Rooms and suites have views over the forests, mountain ranges or gardens. There are 3 sets of interconnecting rooms, ideal for family groups.
Activities: Enjoy spa treatments, swimming in the pool and a relaxing soak in the outdoor Jacuzzi. Other past times include croquet, billiards and archery. An ice rink is operational at Wildlflower Hall from mid-December to mid-March. Tennis is available in summer. There are mountain trails near the hotel (maps are available) and guests can also explore by mountain bike, bikes and helmets provided by the hotel. White water rafting trips can be organised.
Facilities: The Oberoi Spa offers holistic treatments based on Ayurvedic, Asian and Western therapies. There is a well-equipped gym. The indoor swimming pool is heated and leads to an outdoor deck with a large Jacuzzi and superb mountain views. The main restaurant features a large pen-air terrace and serves Pan-Asian and Continental dishes. Lutyens specialises in Indian cuisine. There is a cosy, wooden-panelled bar. There is a card room with playing cards, bridge and scrabble plus a library with a selection of books on the local area, wildlife and fiction, music and DVDs.
Dining: Meals are taken at individual tables.
Children: Children aged 10 year and over are welcome.
Health: We recommend malarial prophylactics for travel to India.
Communication: There is Wi-Fi internet access in guest rooms.
