Location: Located within the Zambezi National Park on the banks of the river, just 5km upstream from the Falls.
Rooms: There are 13 luxury tents. Facilities include air conditioning, fans, hot drink station, minibar, bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower, private lounge and a terrace featuring a plunge pool overlooking the gorge. There is 24 hour mains electricity.
Activities: The most popular activities at Victoria Falls River Lodge are game drives and river cruises, birdwatching is popular and relaxing at sunset with a G&T in hand is always recommended. For an additional cost walking and canoe safaris can be arranged. There is a daily complimentary transfer into town. A guided tour of the falls is included, entry fee must be paid separately.
Facilities: The central area is spacious and open plan, housing the dining room, lounge and bar with a shaded veranda overlooking the river. There is an infinity pool and trained therapists offer a wide range of treatments in the privacy of your room. A laundry service is available at extra charge.
Dining: The camp specialises in fine dining with an African flare. Meals are complimented with fine South African wines and served in the thatched riverside dining area. A spacious open plan seating area that flows out to the sundowner deck, so weather permitting dining under the stars is also an option.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome, though a private vehicle may be required. They should be kept under supervision at all times.
Health: This is a malarial area.
Communication: There is free Wi-Fi internet access, although this can be intermittent due to the location.
