Northern Tuli Game Reserve while not as well-known as some Botswana safari destinations is a wonderful place to enjoy nature's riches. The scenery lends itself to photography with huge skies and panoramic plains filled with distinctive baobab trees, rocky outcrops, riverine forests and open savannas. All of the Big 5 can be seen here and staying at Tuli Safari Lodge you have a combination of game drives and guided walks to enable you to explore it all.

The lodge is set in attractive, peaceful grounds and has several places indoors and out where you can rest between excursions and take in the views, catch up on some reading and socialise over a chilled drink. The swimming pool is perfect for cooling down on a hot day, and there's a short walking trail you can follow at your leisure plus a nearby hide overlooking a waterhole for more wildlife encounters. This is a small lodge with just ten suites so you soon get to know your fellow guests. Meals are generally eaten together which adds to the group feel, and served in a number of locations often followed by the singing of the Tuli choir.

There are eight tented suites and two classic suites. All have similar features and provide comfortable and spacious accommodation including an en-suite bathroom and separate shower. You have an indoor sitting area, tea and coffee making facilities, lots of storage space and a private deck. They are all named after wildlife found in Tuli.

A typical day at Tuli Safari Lodge begins with a hot drink and muffins served in the lounge before the early morning game drive or guided walk. On arrival back to the lodge you are treated to brunch followed by time to unwind. Afternoon tea precedes the second safari of the day which may include nibbles and sundowners before returning to the lodge in time to shower and change for dinner. None of this is written in stone and your hosts are happy to adapt to your needs and wishes to make your stay the best it can be.
