Manager v helpful in giving local advice and organising extras. Had great colonial style. A long walk into town, across busy interchanges; we took taxis back in the evening from waterfront

Lovely guesthouse in a brilliant location, The service was wonderful, the breakfast perfect and there was a real sense of thoughtfulness and caring here. We stayed 3 nights at Trevoyan and our room (room 3) was quite central within the Guest House. It was a little on the small side and quite noisy in the morning so my advice would be if you're staying longer than one night, ask for a bigger room and away from the dining room.

Charles and Dominique were great hosts in this charming Guest House with a good location for exploring Cape Town. They were a mine of information and helped us to sort out our activities, ordered taxis recommending places to eat etc. All staff very friendly and would definately stay there again. Breakfasts were fantastic! We learnt a lot about the political climate too from Charles so it was most interesting. We found the freecitywalks..very good..check website. we did the Historic city walk and the Bokaap walk.
