Tree House Hideaway has 5 exclusive tree house rooms and is set in 8 hectares of private jungle at the edge of Bandhavgarh National Park, The park has a healthy population of tigers, the prime attraction on the twice daily jeep drives, though you can also expect to see sambar and spotted deer, gaur, jackal and wild boar. This is also a good bird spotting destination with over 200 species having been recorded.

The lodge's distinctive rooms are set high above the ground in large trees. Each has been constructed using local craftsmanship and materials to blend into the environment, and they have a deceptively rustic appearance. Once inside you notice the modern facilities including air-conditioning, minibar and bathroom with 24-hour hot running water, which make your stay cosy and comfortable. Every tree house has a private balcony complete with loungers where you can unwind and enjoy views of the grounds.

At the heart of the lodge there's a large, two-storey building with the dining hall downstairs and bar cum lounge upstairs. The whole structure is built around a massive Mahua tree. There is also a raised deck or machaan set up near a waterhole, ideal for watching animals as they come to drink.

As well as safaris in the national park, you can go for nature walks, explore by bike, visit the local village and see local artisans at work. Lodge staff can also arrange hikes up to the historic Bandhavgarh Fort
