Open: Tomarapi Ecolodge is open all year.
Location: The lodge is in Sajama National Park near the Chilean border. The lodge is about a 3-hour drive from La Paz, and 5 hours from Uyuni.
Rooms: The 12 guest rooms can sleep up to 4 people and each has an en-suite bathroom with flush toilet, basin and shower, with hot water available on request. All bedding, including blankets, and towels are provided. Each room has a heater. Rooms are located in adobe and thatch buildings.
Activities: Go for walks and hikes in Sajama National Park, watch animals and birds, visit geysers and lagoons, visit local communities and schools, see Inca chullpas (burial chambers), star gazing.
Facilities: There is an open plan lounge-dining room with an open fire.
Dining: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available at the lodge. Breakfast includes eggs cooked to order. Lunch and dinner generally feature soup followed by a main course of meat or vegetables with rice or potatoes.
Children: Children are welcome.
Health: We recommend malaria prophylactics for a visit to Bolivia.
Communication: There is no internet access.
