Open:  All year.

Location:  The lodge is on the periphery of Bardia National Park. The lodge can be reached by a flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj followed by a 2 hour drive.

Rooms:  The lodge has 20 guests rooms, all en-suite.  Rooms are simply furnished but comfortable.

Activities:  The lodge can provide naturalist guides to accompany guests in Bardia on foot or in jeeps. River rafting trips and boat rides are offered. Guests can also visit nearby villages. Excursions can be booked and paid for locally.  

Facilities:  The restaurant serves simple, homely food in both Nepali and Western cuisines.  The lodge has its own organic garden which provides most of the food. There is a well-stocked bar. he lodge has an attractive garden.  

Dining:  Meals are usually taken communally.

Children:  Children of all ages are welcome.

Health:  Bardia has a low malaria risk but you should consult your doctor or a travel clinic for the latest advice.

Communication:  There is no WiFi internet access, but the lodge manager has internet access which guests can use in an emergency. Access can, however, be sporadic. The lodge has a landline phone.
