The Singular Patagonia occupies part of a former cold storage warehouse on the shore facing Last Hope Sound, and part of the building is now a museum and historic monument where you can see salvaged industrial machinery. The rest of the property has been imaginatively transformed to provide luxury accommodation and top-notch facilities. From here you can explore the great outdoors of Patagonia, going on hikes, bike and horse rides and fjord cruises to fully appreciate the stunning and varied scenery.

The views from your room are pretty special, too. Each room and suite has a floor-to-ceiling window that runs the width of the room, looking out over the Fjord of Last Hope Sound. The bathroom has both a bathtub and a walk-in shower and is supplied with toiletries, a hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers. TV and wifi are standard. Suites have similar facilities and offer even greater space.

There are 2 restaurants, one offering a range of fare combining local produce and French culinary techniques, and the other specialising in freshly grilled dishes. The cavernous bar is the ideal place to sample Chilean wine as you chat to fellow guests.

The spa has an extensive range of treatments including massage, hot stone therapy, hydrotherapy and facials, and has a sauna and indoor pool with views over the fjord. Full-day spa sessions can be arranged.
