Open:  The Hide is open all year.

Location: The lodge is situated in the north eastern section of Hwange National Park in a private reserve.

Rooms:  There are 8 deluxe tents, 2 honeymoon tents and one safari house (The Private Hide) as well as the Dove's Nest Treehouse. Facilities include fans, dressing area, writing table and bathroom. Some have a bath and indoor or outdoor shower, others just showers.  Each tent has a private veranda with comfy seating.

Activities:  Walking safaris, game drives, and visits to the underground hide are the order of the day at the Hide.

Facilities:   The large central building is split level and overlooks the waterhole. This building houses the bar, lounge and dining area. The spacious deck out front has seating and a swimming pool, all with views of the waterhole.

Dining:   The food at the Hide is always delicious and plentiful. Meals are served communally, inside or outside depending on the weather and are always a sociable and lively occasion.

Children:  Children 10 years and older are welcome. They should be kept under supervision at all times. Walking safaris usually have an age restriction of 16.

Health:  This is a malarial area.

Communication:  There is limited WiFi in the main areas at the Hide, there is a landline at reception for use in an emergency.

Notes:   Credit cards are not accepted at the Hide, tips and payments can be made in cash only.
