Problems with air conditioning in a couple of the rooms we stayed in.

We enjoyed our stay at this atmospheric hotel. The Sevilla restaurant was great and had a lovely ambience, even though it wasn't very Indian!

A great introduction to Delhi Straight from the plane to The Claridges. Despite the very late hour staff took time to greet us and welcome us to Delhi. The room was very spacious with a seating area as well as a huge bed. The bathroom was well equipped with robes and slippers - handy as all the floors are tiled. Breakfast was a buffet with both Indian and continental choices. As our train left early evening we were also able to return to the hotel despite having checked out in the morning to wait for our driver. It is located quite a way out of the city centre so provides a peaceful place to regroup after the city experience.

Breakfast was good with a wide variety of options. Our room, although spacious and well equipped, was quite noisy being on the ground floor by the car park, especially when there was an evening celebration occurring. The hotel is within walking distance of the metro system and Lodhi Gardens( a peaceful haven from the chaos of Old Delhi) The staff were helpful.

Pleasant, convenient hotel, slightly faded, which was fine for our short stay.

A top-end hotel, well located in New Delhi, with good facilities, vigilant security and attentive and helpful staff. We had a good-sized room accessed along a very long corridor. The night lights under the bedside tables were an unusual and welcome feature and food was good, though the Indian restaurant had very limited seating capacity and we were lucky to get a table.

We were checked in efficiently with the help of our tour guide. We had a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool. It was well furnished and reasonably sized. The bath with shower lacked a hand rail for the shower (there was one on the bath) and that could risk a fall. They provided bottled water in the room, a good sized safe and good Wi-Fi. There is a choice of restaurants and we ate dinner both nights of our stay in Pickwicks. There was a reasonable choice and the food was well presented, large portions and tasty. On one morning they were full at breakfast despite opening Dhaba, another restaurant. They took room numbers but gave tables to people arriving afterwards without calling those waiting first. They also claimed the food was the same in both locations but the choice was more limited in Dhaba than Pickwicks. We had a look at the spa which seemed well fitted with saunas, modern changing rooms and a small gym. Service was first class in every respect. We'd have no hesitation in staying here again.

A lovely hotel where the staff were very helpful. Disappointed that we could not get into the fully booked Indian restaurant so, as a result, our first meal in India was served in a Chinese restaurant!!
