Tashi Ninjay Guesthouse is located on the edge of the town of Trongsa, set on a steep hill with great views of Trongsa Dzong, the largest in Bhutan, and the town. Trongsa is a good place to break the journey between Western Bhutan and Bumthang. This family-run guesthouse is a good option for exploring the sites and bazaars of Trongsa which are within walking distance, and for experiencing Bhutanese hospitality.

There are 14 simple guest rooms all located on the upper floors, each with private shower room and balcony. Rooms at the back of the guesthouse look out towards Trongsa Dzong, a truly impressive sight. The restaurant serves continental breakfasts and dinners buffet-style and there is a cosy bar offering a range of drinks. The restaurant and bar are downstairs and are reached by an outside staircase. Wifi is available free of charge.
