Location: The Taj Ganges is located a short drive from the centre of Varanasi in 16 hectares of gardens. It is just 21kms from the airport.

Rooms: There are 130 rooms in four categories: standard and executive rooms (both 22sqm), executive suites (48sqm) and deluxe suites (55sqm). All are air conditioned, have complimentary Wi-Fi internet access, safe, direct dial phone, TV, tea and coffee maker and minibar. DVDs can be borrowed on request. There is 24 hour room service.

Activities: Guests can explore the city of Varanasi, with its ghats and temples. Hotel staff can help plan excursions to sites further afield.

Facilities: The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and spa. There are extensive gardens. There is a shopping arcade on site. The hotel offers a laundry service and currency exchange. The hotel has a modern coffee shop and bar and a restaurant specialising in Indian dishes to compliment the main restaurant which serves international dishes. The bar serves wine, spirits and cocktails.

Dining: Meals are taken at individual tables.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome.

Health: We recommend malarial prophylactics for travel to India.

Communication: There is free Wi-Fi and high speed internet access.
