Beautiful setting on the bank of the river. Lots of wildlife easily seen around the lodge. Comfortable accommodation and good food. Staff friendly and helpful. Good place to start a holiday in the Pantanal.

Simply accommodations, which were clean and ideal for a nice afternoon break from the heat. Having a fan and a/c in the room was a nice bonus. The food was healthy, delicious and ample.

Good location by a river. Rooms were comfortable and clean but lacked storage if you are there for longer period. Great opportunity to obverse Ocelot in an evening viewing, however this may test the perception of whether it is right to tempt wild animals through food.

Good location on Pixaim river. Accommodation basic, food excellent. We enjoyed an extra day here to explore the area on foot, by boat and to take a night drive. Ocelot and giant otter sightings superb. Plus, even more birds, including great potoo and colourful butterflies.

The lodge was pretty much what I expected, having travelled extensively throughout Africa and stayed in similar accommodation. However, the staff weren't particularly "service" orientated and had to be reminded about bringing drinks when ordered. Possibly a language problem?

Particularly enjoyed the efforts to bring the wildlife closer.... stork tower, crab eating foxes in the garbage, mating capybara, river trips with kingfisher feeding and of course the ocelots.

Rooms were quite basic, but adequate. Food was average. The wildlife literally coming up to your door was amazing. Great bird life on the river trips. Don't miss the trip to the hide at dusk.

Comfortable, good sized room, well appointed. Friendly staff and good tasty food - even for me as a vegetarian there was a good choice. The location is great too, wildlife all around including the resident capybara family, jabiru storks and hyacinth macaws.
