Singita Pamushana Lodge, widely considered one of Zimbabwe's most luxurious lodges, is situated in the private Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve, sharing its southern boundary with Gonarezhou National Park. This is an area of true wilderness and low tourist numbers making it an excellent choice for an exclusive safari experience. The reserve plays host to the Big 5, and the guides will do their utmost to deliver a memorable safari experience. In addition to over 35 mammal species there are over 125 bird species found here too amidst the mopani forests and baobab trees.

The lodge's design is inspired by the tribal history of ancient Zimbabwe, reflecting its iimpressive scale and well crafted stonework. Interiors contain references to local Shangaan cullture and include vividly coloured fabrics and striking artworks, all of which convey a sense of place and heritage. 

The lodge has just eight suites and one villa, all built high on the cliff-side, which gives them splendid panoramic views of Lake Malilangwe and the dustant sandstone hills, Each suite has its own game viewing deck and plunge pool. Fireplaces add warmth and a cosy ambience on a chilly night, while on hotter days you have air-conditioning to regulate the temperature. 

The main area is equally inviting and vibrant. There's an indoor dining room and an al fresco dining deck. Hurricane lamps and a starry night sky make this the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. Other social areas include a  bar, library, and open-air lounge. Something you might not expect is the extensive and well-stocked wine cellar, with superb vintages on offer to compliment the delicious meals. 

Activities offered during your stay include 4x4 game drives, walking safaris and watching wildlife from a hides. As well as the wildlife activities you can observe some interesting rock paintings and visit a local village. Boat cruises on the river and fishing from the dam can be arranged. Back at the lodge you can unwind with a swim in your plunge pool or in the main lodge pool, treat yourself to some pampering at the spa and a spot of retail therapy at the boutique and gallery.
