As we sat looking at a giraffe, our guide, Willy, suddenly said "Hold on" and we shot off along the track to find ourselves watching a wild cat streaking across the open grassland chased by a pack of wild dogs. No wonder I loved Savuti Camp! I also loved the position on the Savuti Channel as it was very picturesque and it meant that we had game viewing in both dry areas and wetter areas. Sometime we felt like we weren't going to see anything, as the mopane woodland here is quite thick in parts, but as luck would have it we were pleasantly surprised on all the drives we did. The rooms, food and staff were all top notch, adding to a great experience.
