Satrana Lodge is near the entrance of Isalo National Park, one of the most visited parks in the country. The tented accommodation is wonderfully cosy, with lovely wooden floors, canvas walls with screened windows and thatched roofs. Textiles are in soothing pastel shades. All tents have private terraces. They have en-suite bathrooms with a shower, plus an outside shower. Larger deluxe tents can take up to two extra beds and make good family accommodation. The tents are arranged throughout the grounds, linked by winding pathways which are lit at night.In the dining room you'll be served tasty meals as you take in views of the gardens through the large windows. The large, light lounge is a great place to kick back and take time to get to know fellow guests. There's a shop on site as well as a library with a range of books. Outside you can soak up some sun on the deck and cool off with a swim in the pool. Reception staff can arrange excursions and the lodge has 4x4 vehicles and drivers to help you explore Isalo.

EnquireMore reviewsWow - loved the rooms including outside shower and the fact that someone comes and opens the windows to show the awesome view for you in day. Would have liked electricity beyond 10pm though. A bit more expensive for meals though and because you are asked in advance what you want the tendency is to order three courses!
