Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge has a wonderful setting perched up on the hillside, overlooking Lake Nakuru. The lodge has been designed so that most of the rooms and communal areas have views over the lake and the park beyond. It's set in a natural landscape of tall, established acacia trees with bird feeders dotted about and winding walkways you can follow at your leisure. It's a peaceful and relaxing location.

Meals are prepared using fresh produce from the lodge's own gardens. Dining takes place al fresco at individual tables. Live cooking stations supplement the well stocked buffet counters with chefs on hand to prepare speciality dishes. There is an interior section to the restaurant and a patio which overlooks the grounds, pool and the lake, so you can dine and admire the scenery at the same time. Enjoy an evening tipple at the bar as you watch traditional dance performances which take place daily, this is also the spot to enjoy a spectacular sunset over the lake and hills beyond at the close of another beautiful day in Africa.

The rooms at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge are arranged in chalets, there are 64 standard rooms and three suites. The standard rooms all enjoy panoramic views of the lake with tiled floors, the bed with overhead mozzie net, day bed, desk and comfy chair. The furniture and decor is simple and comfortable, all you need for a good night's rest. You have a private patio overlooking the lake where you can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. The two-bedroom suites are ideal for families, they offer more space and have attractive wooden floors and furniture.

Spend your days exploring Lake Nakuru and the surrounds, admiring the flamingos and other water birds, it's a birder's paradise. The park is also home to the endangered black rhino and other wildlife such as buffalo, lion, zebra and waterbuck.
