Great lodge, great guide but with average food. There is a drought and no water so the water based activities were not available. These were replaced by game drives. First time we had seen the big five in one location.

We actually stayed at their new lodge, rather than Rra Dinare - the new lodge being called Under One Botswana Sky. The lodge was really luxurious and we loved it! There are four lodges within this Eastern Delta reserve and they do work in conjunction with each other - so if you spot an animal which will be of interest to others, you can count on at least three other vehicles turning up to see it. Sometimes this didn't always seem quite right in terms of the animals....

The remote camp. The social atmosphere at dinner. The very knowledgeable Mark and his incredible 4 x 4 driving. Of course all the animals. Leopards, Lions, Wild Dogs to name just a few.
