Location: The lodge is on the south side of Ngorongoro Crater rim. It is on the south side of the road which goes around this part of the crater.
Rooms: There are 24 rooms all on the ground floor, each with a verandah. They all have en-suite bathrooms with a shower, twin or double beds, and a woodburning stove. They are simply furnished and decorated, but comfortable and clean.
Activities: The lodge is used as a base from which to enjoy the Ngorongoro Crater. You can also do walks from here, and visit a local Maasai village.
Facilities: There is a lounge/dining room with two large fireplaces.
Dining: Plentiful and tasty buffet-style meals are offered.
Children: Children are welcome.
Health: This is a malarial area.
Communication: Mobile signals are usually OK here. There is no wifi.
