Tribes Style: Delux
- Panoramic views from all parts of the hotel
- Take your pick of the many excursions
- Go hiking, biking, horse riding, kayaking and fishing
- Relax in the pool, jacuzzi or sauna
- Strong eco credentials
The hotel's striking design was inspired by the traditional sheep shearing sheds of the region, bowed by the prevailing winds. It makes great use of thermal glass, which floods the interior with both light and heat, and lets you enjoy the magnificent views as you relax at the hotel.
The 72 guest rooms are cosy, and feature local Lenga wood, slate floors, picture windows and handwoven blankets. En-suite bathrooms have a big bathtub and luxurious rain head shower, and there's a window here too, so you can bathe with a view.
The main purpose of your stay is to spend time outside, amidst the stunning scenery which includes mountains, glaciers, lagoons, rivers and forests. You can choose your level of activity, with some requiring little effort and others needing greater exertion and fitness levels. You can go boating, kayaking, biking, horse riding, walking, hiking, bird watching and fly fishing. Excursions are in groups of no more than 8 guests and are led by a bilingual guide.
On return to the hotel you can unwind with a swim in the indoor pool, a soak in the jacuzzi, sauna or massage. There's a choice of sitting areas, all with great views over Last Hope Sound, and a bar where you can relax with a drink. The restaurant serves cuisine made from local seafood, meat and organic vegetables from nearby gardens.

Client Rating for Chile 5/5 from 3 reviews
More reviewsThis strange-looking building on the edge of Puerto Natales town is a good choice for visiting Chilean Patagonia. It has gorgeous view out onto the Last Hope Sound /Fjord, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and if you’re a foodie you’re definitely in the right place - you might be staying at the end of the world but in our view this place offers world-class fine-dining and wines. The excursion choice is very good and the guides excellent too. Yes, you’re about 1.5 hours drive from Torres del Paine park, but there are also good excursions nearby so you can either use this as the only base for your stay, or split your stay between here and a hotel in or nearer Torres del Paine.
